I actually like this, showing lots of different maps linked together, such as Grass, Desert/Water, Ice, underground & of course Volcano. Very good art!!!

You indeed can! Just use the linux version and manually run the "linux.x86_64" file. (or add it as a "non-steam" game)

idea for another mode: remakes of past 2D Mario levels which up to 8 players can race each other
try adding the penguin suit but make it more rare than the ice flower
That would basically be the equivalent of Blue Shell. The only difference would be that it has ice pyschics.
