v1.6.0.0-beta Release!


Hey all,

Thanks for the patience between 1.5.4.0 and 1.6.0.0! Although it's only been two months, it feels like it's been *years* since the last time I was able to push out an update. Hopefully, it will be worth the wait.

- Completely redesigned the main HUD

- Added symbols displaying room properties to the server listing

 Adjustments:

- Games in-progress are now visible / joinable
- Made bouncing on / groundpounding other players much more lenient
- Changed groundpounding breaking blocks speed
- Slightly lowered the input window for koyote time jumps
- Raised the input window for performing double/triplejumps
- Added the ability to walljump out of a Propeller Mushroom's spin
- Massively nerfed fireball knockback, making it more accurate to the original game
- Made the slopes on mushroom platforms less steep
- Improved performance in Grassland, Sky, and Jungle
- Removed restrictions for Mega players / Blue Shell players to use spinners
- Change the item reserve box to use SMW-like mechanics
- Changed item spawning mechanics to be based on rank rather than number of stars
- Lowered the spawn rate for normal mushrooms at lower star counts
- Increased the size of pipe triggers to make entering them easier
- Enemies now turnaround after hitting a player / another enemy
- Mega Mushroom ending no longer freezes the player
- Mega Mushroom now cancels when used in an invalid spot faster
- Mega Mushroom now destroys an entire pipe, not just a portion of it.
- Propeller Mushroom's drill only continues while down is actively held
- Players are now able to jump out of a groundpound
- Changed fireball physics to be more accurate to the original game
- Changed enemy movement speeds to be more accurate to the original game
- Changed speed/acceleration of Starman powerup to be more accurate to the original game
- Changed jumping height / gravity more accurate to the original game
- Changed walljump / wallslide mechanics more accurate to the original game
- Reduced star spawn timer for low-player-count games
- Increased NDS resolution to fit more tiles
- Added (1)/(2)/... for players with duplicate usernames
- Changed re-entering warp pipes to have a slight cooldown
- Players with a Blue Shell can no longer move while crouched
- Camera now stops following players during the dying animation
- Change Propeller Suit helmet to match the NDS style more.
- Changed nametags to render at full resolution in NDS Resolution mode
- Changed nametags to use the new HUD elements
- Changed track UI to have the correct star sprite
- Changed track UI to use the player's glow color instead of character
- Changed character lighting to be more accurate to the original game
- Changed fireball graphics to be more accurate to the original game
- Changed Blue Koopa graphics to be more accurate to the original game
- Changed respawning particles to match the player's glow color.
